Margo Valiante
Margo Valiante
Margo Valiante combines country and blues into a sound that is her own Americana. Raised in Wyoming with a long stint in Texas, she has been calling Brooklyn home for the last 8 years. She’s most comfortable telling sad stories through dark, powerful vocals that might lead you to believe she was properly raised on Townes Van Zandt and Bonnie Raitt. Her affinity for the Telecaster is a good indication that she’s not going to tiptoe around you.

In June of 2018 she released the EP Weight of Your Heart, recorded at Transmitter Park Studios in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Her collaboration with producer Abe Seiferth proved fruitful as they melded her country background with his guitar and synth expertise. The writing evokes an aimlessness and navigates the endless pursuit of an American journey. She even throws in a haunting cover of Neil Young’s Pocahontas.

You can find Margo Valiante fronting her band most Thursdays blowing the roof off of Skinny Dennis Bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Sonya Kitchell
Sonya Kitchell
Two time Grammy Award Winner, Sonya Kitchell is a songstress with a voice that is unadorned and true. Weaving folk and psychedelia with unbridled pop, Kitchell’s melodies blend a raspy rock ‘n roll spirit together with a modern twist. Based in Brooklyn NY, she has toured the globe many times over in support of her first four internationally acclaimed records, Words Came Back to Me (2006), This Storm (2008), Convict of Conviction (2010) and self-produced We Come Apart (2016). Kitchell spent a life-changing year collaborating with the legendary Herbie Hancock on his Grammy Award winning album, River: The Joni Letters, winning two Grammys — the first for her work on River: The Joni Letters as a vocalist and later for her work on Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Revelator as a writer.

Her prolific, illustrious career is marked by collaborations with respected artists, including Joni Mitchell, Wayne Shorter, Jackson Brown, Reggie Watts, Blake Mills, The Barr Brothers, Dap Kings, Ben Harper, Tal Wilkenfeld, Stewart Lerman, Malcolm Burn & Damien Rice. In 2012 she became a permanent touring member of legendary Danish shoegaze band, Blue Foundation, penning several songs on their latest release Bloodmoon (2017). Kitchell has graced the stage at numerous landmarks & festivals among them; Carnegie Hall, Hollywood Bowl, Montreaux Jazz Festival, Newport Folk Festival and Central Park Summerstage. Her televisions appearances include Late Night with David Letterman, Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, CBS Morning Show and Live at Abbey Road.

Her latest self-produced release We Come Apart explores the remnants of things, the space in between our atoms. The album represents years of Kitchell’s learning from masters, unlearning expectations, and re-emerging as a vivid, fresh voice.
